Deckhand - Coastguard Marlborough
Originally from landlocked Czechia, Lucy has always been fascinated by boating and the water. She joined Coastguard Marlborough in 2023 and is currently a deckhand.
Upskilling is a key part of being a Coastguard volunteer, and Lucy’s favorite aspect is navigation - especially calculating distances and measurements using traditional paper charts.
